| one track editing?|
I'm a new Openshot user et coming from Pinnacle, I was used to editing with a single video track. I first started using Openshot the same way but when trying out transitions I couldnt get them to work. Then I read the manual et learned to do it with 2 tracks overlapping eachother. But this is awfully slow et there is no automation getting the overlaps et transitions to a specific lenght.
Is it possible to implement a one track editing feature? When 2 clips are on the same video track, inserting a transition between them would automatically overlap the clips (the same amount as the transition is long). And then you could use the stretch tool to make the transition to a specific lenght (or from transition properties) et it would keep the start et end of the clips on the start et end of the transition?
And if you'd want to use the two video tracks it would be possible the same as before?
Or is this too big of a change to the program? Would a better solution be to make the 2 track overlapping somehow automated?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
